2022 Dressage and Jumping World Championships
August 3 – 15, 2022 – Herning, Denmark
We are ready for the 2022 World Championships and excited about our first visit to Denmark’s Jutland Peninsula and to Herning. Summer will be a wonderful time in Scandinavia and Herning has extensive experience with the World Cup and other major equestrian competitions.
We have comfortable accommodations just north of Herning, on a lake in Viborg, just a short walk to the town. Because of the timing of the competitions, we will only have one day for sightseeing in Jutland. For those who wish, we will have a four-night pre-tour in Copenhagen. Information on that will be forthcoming.
A word of precaution – the stadiums in Herning are small and they will not be expanding them. The main stadium has just 10,000 seats for Dressage and Show Jumping. (Aachen has in excess of 40,000). If you wish to join us, please make you reservation early. We will be purchasing tickets as reservations require.
Our planned program:
Wednesday, August 3, 2022: Depart for Denmark
If you are not joining our pre-tour, North American clients will depart today for Billund, Denmark. (Delta and KLM; United and Lufthansa; and Air France show flights, many code-shared – same flight showing under different carriers).

We will have transfers arranged from the Billund Airport to the Golf Hotel in Viborg. You’ll find our hotel settled picturesquely between the Viborg Lakes and just a short walk from the town. Relax after your trip, enjoy the grounds and rest up for our welcome reception and dinner this evening.
